Principle
Ultrasonic flaw detection is a non-destructive testing method that uses the acoustic performance differences of materials and their defects to examine the energy changes in the reflection of ultrasonic wave propagation waveforms and the penetration time, thereby detecting internal defects in materials.
Application scenarios
It can inspect the pneumatic system and test the pressure cables used by telecommunications companies, etc. Tanks, pipelines and hoses can all be detected by pressurization, as well as vacuum systems, vortex exhaust, diesel engine fuel intake systems, vacuum chambers, ship compartments, watertight doors, material handling systems, internal and external gas and liquid leakage of pressure vessels and pipelines, etc.
Advantage:
- Large detection thickness;
- High sensitivity;
- Fast speed;
- Low cost;
- No harm to the human;
- Ability to locate and quantify defects;
